Gold = God who is holy & just perfect and without sin creating a heaven to share with others who are sinless... The Bible tells us that God loves us and longs for us to be with him. John 3:16
Dark = a problem as we all have sinned (Romans 3:23) and no sin can be with God in heaven so we are seperated for ever by lies stealing cheating disobedience - the things we think, say & do which displease God. All sin must be punished and this punishment is death - to be seperated from God forever. (Romans 6:23) However God has made a way for our sins to be forgiven.
Red = Jesus the perfect son of God who was born as a baby and grew up like every other child, except he never sinned, never lied, cheated, stole, or disobeyed God or his earthly parents. Jesus willingly gave his life to take the punishment for our sins. He was taken and nailed to a cross where he died and was buried. Three days later he rose from the dead and he is alive praying that you will believe in what he has done for you. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) Because of what Jesus has done you can have your sins forgiven.
Clean = God wants to make us clean and give us pure lives to live for him. Its as easy as A B C! A = Admit you are a sinner and need Jesus to save you. B = Believe that Jesus is the son of God who died and came to life again for you. C = Confess your sin & thank God for forgiving you. D = Decide to make Jesus number one in your life - make him Boss, let God be your Father. John 1:12 says, But to all who receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Believe Gods promise to you!
Green = Grow! Once you have made Jesus number one in your life you will want to grow to know him more and understand what it means to be a child of God. Coming to church and being with other people who believe in Jesus helps us grow. Praying - talking to God about everything helps us grow - just like you'd talk to your best friend you can talk to God. Telling other people about Jesus and what he has done for them helps us grow stronger too. Remember not everyone will understand and want to believe straight away so you need to pray and ask God to help them understand. Reading your Bible really helps you grow as you learn the amazing things God has done in history and the amazing things he still promises to do. Remember the Bible is God's word and God cannot lie. Now that you believe in Jesus you will want to do everything you can to live His way. Jesus will help you.
